These agents approached us during a transitional period in the real estate market. Their budgets were limited, so we focused entirely on organic strategies—custom graphics, educational and promotional posts, and guidance on engaging with followers directly to build community.
From the start, we were clear about what was realistic within their budget: no paid ads, limited design hours, and reliance on them for content (photos, videos). We worked together for about three months, but eventually the economic shifts led some clients to retire, change industries, or put marketing on hold.
What We Learned:
These projects reinforced the importance of qualifying leads and setting clear expectations. We now have a firm minimum monthly budget for social media management ($1500) to ensure we can deliver impactful results. It also reminded us that organic growth takes time, and that it’s our job to educate clients on that journey—especially when they don’t have experience in digital marketing.
